Bulan Project is a non-profit program to empower girls and young women to be independent in every aspect of lives.
By having a degree in higher education, and at the same time founding a startup and running a real business as early as possible, it is expected that they learn first hand:
Setting up a business
deepening technical skills (hard skills) based on their interests, such as engineering, design, marketing, …
acquiring business skills (soft skills) such as networking, pitching, negotiating, hiring, …
solving real problems with minimum resources
The ultimate goal of this program is to help the girls gain knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in the business on a later stage, which can also be implemented in their personal lives.
